The Decatur branch welcomed an impressive customer turnout for its September open house. “It was great!” said Western District Manager Johnathon Holbrook, who appreciated all work Operations Manager Jeremy Clark and Technician Kasie Saunders—among many others—did to renovate the branch.
The open house, which featured a food truck, cornhole boards and plenty of merchandise, entertained visitors from five Illinois MPW customers.
“The best part was the relationship building,” Holbrook said. “A lot of our customers finally got to meet the admin staff and put a face to the name.” The Decatur branch has been open for about five years and in need of some major upgrades. “It was a lot of hard work from a lot of people around the company, from sales to maintenance to the management here. Everyone chipped in and helped.”
“I was quite impressed with how many people came to see the upgrades and all the good stuff we’ve done here at the shop,” Clark said. Remodeling began several months ago with creating better office space, redoing concrete, installing many new racks inside the shop and generally painting, cleaning and organizing the branch.
“Employees can come right in, and everything is labeled; everybody knows what they’re doing,” Clark said. “It just streamlines the whole process. We have a lot quicker result in getting to the customer.”
