Facility Support

Deep Cleaning

MPW provides Deep Cleaning services as the first line of defense in preventing a combustible fugitive dust explosion. More than 280 dust fires and explosions have occurred in U.S. facilities over the past 25 years, resulting in hundreds of fatalities and injuries and millions in fines. In many combustible dust explosions, facilities were unaware that a hazard even existed. MPW seasoned personnel conduct a facility analysis incorporating safety procedures and deep clean programs tailored to a facilities' operation. Intense manual cleaning methods implement Housekeeping (29CFR 1910.22) standards.

MPW employs diverse Deep Cleaning methods when dust accumulations adhere to structural members (vertical and horizontal), process piping, cable trays, floors, joists, ducts, and process equipment. Deep cleaning is mandated following new construction and prior to OSHA inspections. Methods include wipedown, mobile pressure washing, hydroblasting (10K-40K psi) and vacuuming. All equipment is properly grounded to prevent electrostatic discharge.

Commodity Management

MPW has extensive experience in supporting customer operations in the MOS (or MRO) department through Inventory Audits, Shipping & Receiving, Shipping Audits, Stocking, Pulling & Tracking Inventory, and Intra-plant Delivery. MPW's integrated technology tracks location, order history, min/max order requirements, quantities and usage statistics, vendors, pricing the following for each item, tied to specific work orders.

Paint System Management

MPW provides comprehensive cleaning and management of paint booth systems including booth cleaning, process labor support, fixture cleaning, airflow analysis and corrective measures, light maintenance, and commodity management. MPW evaluates the data obtained from system performance monitoring to modify cleaning schedules and operational approaches, resulting in improvements in first-time pass rate capabilities. Our integrated approach results in higher production efficiency and substantially contributes to cost saving programs.

Preventative Maintenance

MPW improves system reliability by evaluating and documenting current practices and engineering time saving, efficiency improving alternatives for customers. Trained technicians clean process equipment, repair any damage found upon inspection and rebuild components when necessary.

To support production demands, MPW provides employees who perform production line tasks full-time or during customers' associate absenteeism.
